Buy this shirt: Davidloshirt – Biggie smalls is the illest shirt
Such a tiny vest is impractical in its natural state as in part of a three-piece suit, not to mention it’s corny and stuffy. But when removed from that buttoned-up scenario, it’s formal-gone-wild. I often think about Janet Jackson’s cropped, navel-baring black vest in the Biggie smalls is the illest shirt besides I will buy this 1993 hit music video “That’s The Way Love Goes” in which she grooves and swivels her hips in the itty-bitty statement piece. Then there is also Kate Moss at Glastonbury running around the muddy grounds in nothing but a black vest and tiny shorts. Recently, it’s become a runway staple, first at Saint Laurent for spring 2020. Telfar, Celine, Maximilian Davis for Fashion East, Raf Simons, and Miu Miu all offered their take, as did Saint Laurent once again for Spring 2021. There is also Ann Demeulemeester who is always known for a lil ole vest.
